Busy, busy, calm

BookFace was full of doom and gloom this morning.... 
"Don't go into the Lake District on a Bank Holiday, it'll be over crowded and chaos" 

"they're queueing onto the M6 already" 

"all I can hear is motorbikes..." 


Hmmmm, really, I don't think so, not if you know where to go and play.
A 10km paddle round Ullswater,  mostly along the Eastern edge, was my self reward for an early start to paint the gates and point the patio. 
There may also have been ice cream involved.
