The latest in the free roadside offerings. I had a conversation with a man who was walking in the opposite direction.  He said that this would be perfect for making a greenhouse over a raised bed. A great idea, and 10 years ago I might have suggested that G pick up the window, build up the garden beds another foot or so, add some hinges to this, and make a mini greenhouse. Too much to do as it is though!

Our neighbour is heading to Spain next week and we'll be keeping an eye on his house. He's coming over for coffee soon to go over any last minute things we need to know.
