Ginger Beer?

Hasn't stopped raining all day and of course it was my week for delivering books for the Home Library Service! Came home rather wet so definitely an indoor blip today.

Found this old stone jar when we were sorting out my aunts' house. I can't find any reference to 'H Job Torquay', but they could have been brewers, or maybe even a chemist shop.
