Spring Greens!

This is the view I had this afternoon with the sun shining through the new silver birch leaves which seem to have appeared overnight in this lovely warm weather. 

We actually did a bit of gardening today - I say "we" but it was mostly all Mr Sk - and have planted up a few pots with scabeous, ranunculus, some little pinks and a lupin.  We also planted a Ceanothus bush to replace a lovely Daphne we had until it died a couple of years ago.  So a gentle sit with a cup of tea was just what was needed after all that!  Thank you Mr Sk - you've done a great job. x
