One of the "Let there be light" series I am doing at college. Just a bit of sunshine at this dark time.

It's been a rotten day - howling gales, really dark and wet! You know the expression madder than a wet hen? Well what it really means is that hens are mad and don't seem to mind getting drenched. They would rather scratch in the dirt than stay under cover. I put a brick on the coop today so I hope it stays safe.
