Deptford monument to Peter the Great

At the northern end of Deptford Creek is a monument to Peter the Great who lived nearby when Deptford was home to ship-building yards. The site was later the location of a major power station, but is now a housing development.

I walk past this often and it's usually deserted. I've occasionally seen people sit in the chair (but I've never had a camera ready for that eventuality), but today someone was sitting on the steps watching the world go by.
