Bleeding Hearts

Good Friday has seen me heading round the M25 to Kent to spend the long weekend with Mum. I took a slight detour onto the A25 to Westerham to visit the National Trust’s Quebec House. The house was the childhood home of General Wolfe, who played a key part in the defeat of the French at Quebec effectively winning Canada for the British in 1759, though he lost his life in the campaign.

The house only has a relatively small garden, which it currently being restored to an 18th century style, so looking rather empty, but I found these gorgeous Bleeding Hearts plants. Flower Friday challenge sorted with takes to our ever willing host, BikerBear.
