You would think it was high summer

I just can't keep Mrs M out of the water.  It still felt a bit cold for me though by afternoon I did find the heat a little excessive and probably would have jumped in if we were still at the tarn.  

To complete the scene, holly blue butterflies fluttered around the trees and, amazingly, an osprey flew overhead.

An extremely busy day in The Lakes but you can still have some places to yourself.
