Mr. Chirpy's Back

New bike parts work well for the Monday commute. Same speed as last week, but a lot less effort. (Not that the easterly wind had anything to do with it) Very cold. The cold wind is still evident at lunchtime. As I walk past the allotments, Mr Chirpy is there. He's singing his heart out. The wind catches his fluffed up feathers. Easterly wind still there making the escape from the office in the afternoon commute difficult.
