RENEWAL

Today The Rev and I went up to Southwark Cathedral for him to renew his vows. It was a lovely service in such a lovely building.
We picked up some lunch at Borough Market....chicken Pad Thai was yummy and The Rev had vegetarian Korean steamed buns which he said were delicious.
We then had a great walk along the south bank stopping for sugary doughnuts and a healthy smoothie .... all balanced. before crossing the river to get the train back from Charing Cross station.

We were pretty exhausted when we got back and enjoyed a chilled evening.

Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life. Janine di Giovanni
