The last sight I expected...

...outside Bath Abbey was a large group of Buddhist Monks, complete with their mobile phones and, in one case, his  colour- coordinated woollen hat.(especially since this turned out to be our hottest day so far this year.).

Round the corner was a bike with a human skeleton sitting on the saddle. It was amazing how many people couldn't walk past without taking selfies (see the extra). The cycle was advertising 'Bizarre Tours of Bath'.

Meanwhile, Gary, who set up our little tour without my realising the city has a racecourse, rushed off to the races as soon as we arrived in town. Hopefully his winnings will pay for dinner!
