Day out

Emily had a party in the late afternoon so we had a morning meandering between parks and play. We got coffee at The Rude Shipyard where Emily and Uncle G played nicely with story cubes whilst Daniel, his mum and I played Uno. Afterwards we went to explore a new park (one we'd previously discovered on a grown up brunch day). Lots of fun defending "forts" and the bumped knee from falling off the round about was soon forgotten.

The original plan had been to head towards town for lunch but with two very tired small people we went to the Hardy Pick. Apparently a few chicken nuggets is all that's needed to fuel another lengthy game of Tig!

Whilst Emily was at her party we played with Daniel in the garden.
