Winter Warming

My day to-day is focussed on WOOD, wood for heating.
Yes we have central heating, but a lively fire in the evening is not only warming, but 'cosy'.
Thus it is that every so often I have to go and fetch wood from our local supplier.
He has a mountain of wood, cut into metre lengths, a large truck with huge grabs for loading it, plus various conveyor belts and mechanical saws.
I take 33cm lengths, arranged neatly into the load area of the car [rear seats folded down] and off I go to stack them equally neatly in our garage, evening
heat for another month or two is assured.
