A view from a Scot

Ratslaukums (Town Hall Square) in Riga

After my morning visit to our newly refurbished offices, I then travelled to my hotel and then went out for fresh air (which was very cold air) and for the purposes of photography.

This square is in the Old City and the focus is the statue of the Patron Saint, Roland.

There is also the somewhat well known The House of Blackheads. It was formerly owned by the Guild of Unmarried Merchants.
