Grand-daddy
Another back-blip. This is a Bunya pine (arucaria spp), and is testament to the fascination of the Victorians with all things coniferous. The Bunya pine is endemic to Queensland, but that didn't stop them from planting them willynilly around the garden at OGH. I hate the damn things. They are messy and if you're not careful they will bite.
This one is just across the road from OGH, and it is massive.
