Dads Tree

I planted this columnar almond blossom in memory of my dad, who loved them, when he died in 1992 so it's now nearly 27 years old and very tall, it smells absolutely lovely.

Its been a  lovely day and so we did 2 really long walks with the dogs, and I also pottered in the greenhouse watering plants and potting on some mimulus into tubs ready to put out later plus I did one of the wall baskets too. Watered the lawn as it was so dry and not growing at all well. I will have to get some lawn feed for it, I saw some in Tesco which was safe for animals and children so will get that next time I am there.
