Grey Millstone Quarry

A break from house sitting for number 1 daughter got me out into the peaks and a stroll around Hathersage area and found the old Grey Millstone Quarry with one of the rough cut stones still left laying around.  The quarrymen would cut the round stones for the mills in the quarry and ship them out to the mills.  This stone is unfinished and now marks one of the paths to the quarry.
