As the petals are already falling, these are probably my only pictures of blossom this year, and unfortunately it wasn't particularly nice weather this morning when I walked up to the gym for a spinning class. Oh well.

Later on, in much sunnier weather, I took some photos of the huge building site which is now the St James Centre from the top deck of the bus, but the site is really too big to encapsulate in a single photograph from that distance. Largely for the record, I've put one in the extras.

A good - and quiet - day at work getting on with reading and taking notes.

At home, later, we watched the Dame Janet Baker profile which aired on Sunday. Lovely TV. Catch it if you can. Bits of it are likely to make most people bawl.
