A day of chores to catch up on - tidying the house and getting the ironing done. Son is arriving for the weekend from Manchester tonight - be lovely to see him and we are meeting his girlfriend for the first time on Saturday so I want the house to be spotless!

Managed a trip to the travel agents to pick up the tickets for our next holiday - flying to Jamaica on Tuesday to join a cruise back to Palma so packing looms tomorrow.

Also merited our the renewal of the house insurance - company I have been with fir a number of years put the premium up by £150 for no apparent reason. Comparisons run by Mr PHL showed the sand company offering him the same insurance for much less - he called and they discounted it further but we decided to go with another provide and have saved just over £500 on buildings and contents. Where does it pay to be loyal now?

Just realised I hadn’t blipped so a quick EB od some of the Lego models built by the family over the last few years. Need to find a better display case some day.
