Pound Wood

Having had CleanSteve mention ancient woods to me here yesterday, we decided to visit Pound Wood today. We had a lovely walk and the wood is truly impressive. Alas, I find it really difficult to take decent photos amongst all the chaos of the trees... more practice is definitely needed!
