185 lost.....

Today is the 8th day of Christmas..according to me going backwards!!!Check out dec16th if you haven't been here before!!
Eight public meetings.........i know this time of year this could be difficult to find -so blipped this memorial......I reasoned- public meetings-chairs-often empty chairs.....
"185 Empty Chairs", is a memorial to the victims of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake on the former site of the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church. I walked amongst these chairs...it is overwhelming. The artist has sourced an amazing collection and painted them white.
