Bath…….

This thrush was having a wonderful bath this morning - and looking at the water flying through the air and dripping off the bottom of the birdbath it’s not surprising the water level needs to be topped up on a regular basis!




Thank you for the comments and stars for my previous blip. Most of the pine trees are grown for commercial use by forestry companies. The fire covered 2300 hectares, much of it forestry, but also homes and lifestyle blocks. Roads and valleys were closed and many homes were evacuated. Through good fire fighting skills only one home was destroyed, but a large number were amazingly saved - often they were surrounded by fire.
