Pot Luck Dinner

It feels like ages since I've done a food blip! My friends had a "party" for their Bible Study group and everyone brought something. We had quite a feast - a good and varied selection of savouries, but the desserts were something else. Someone brought a Baileys Cheesecake which was AMAZING. There was also a pavlova and cherry and chocolate slice amongst others. The leader brought champagne as he was celebrating getting a degree as a mature student.

I've had quite a day too. Friend Eileen treated me to a Dermologica Facial! I also had a race around the local Sainsbury's. To explain my excitement - I LOVE going into supermarkets here. The quality of the produce and variety are just incredible AND you can even buy beer and wine! All under one roof. AMAZING! (Little things.)

It is now 15 minutes to midnight and I could stay up and beat Tig and Freuchie for 20.12.2012 tomorrow, but I want to give them a fair chance as I am rubbish at waking early in the mornings. Surprisingly, my sister hasn't got in first to claim her icecream. Last special date for this year...

It rained today but nothing to spoil the day. Think it will be more wet but also more mild tomorrow. Have a super day.

PS. The Baileys cheesecake was DELICIOUS. Thoroughly recommend it.
