Blipvent Calendar #19: Puncsh Mugs

One of the winter traditions in Vienna is the puncsh (kinda hot punch / sweet mulled wine) stalls that pop up on the main streets and at the Christmas markets around the city. I first got the taste for puncsh in week 1 and have sought it out ever since :-)

Part of the tradition seems to be that the punsch stalls in any given area will have a special mug design, and as you pay a deposit of a couple of euro for the mug, you get to decide whether to hand it back or keep it as a memento. My missus challenged me to bring her back a punsch mug. Last night at the Christmas market I finally got one. Well, three actually. But only two were a matching pair. Hence this photo.
