“Tip-toe through the tulips!”

Today we headed down to the zoo to see their Zoo Blooms event, featuring about 100,000 tulips, as well as other Spring bulbs and many varieties of flowering trees and shrubs. One or two varieties of tulip were just past their best, but the majority I would say were at peak bloom. Several of the animals posed quite nicely for me too, and others were just fun to watch, so all in all, a grand day!
