Fluffy Golden Fairy

A beautifully warm and sunny day after a misty start. My daughter and I and our dogs really enjoyed our walk this morning. We pass a pretty thatched cottage whose owner puts a dog water bowl outside the gate. Our dogs usually ignore it but this morning they drank out of it at the same time, which pleased us. I've added a pic to extras of gulls on the rail of the boardwalk over the lake as it shows what beautiful chocolate-brown heads black-headed gulls have in summer.

I spotted the above fairy longhorn moth dancing on its own over an ivy-clad tank at home.
