Bluebell

Just developing at the bottom of our garden.

Another industrious day in the garden, mainly working on the pond.  Ian from Natural Gardens, who originally put in the pond and meadow, came to give us a hand, wading around in the pond to clear some of the excessive growth.  We also tracked down the likely source of the water loss from the pond, and hopefully started sorting it.  

Barley (Ian's wife) also came along, and collected innumerable acorns from the mud in the bottom of the upper pool, along with the blanket weed.  She also patiently sorted the plants pulled from the pond and rescued lots of dragonfly nymphs.  

W also did lots of work.  I supervised gamely wandered around with a camera, and escaped to the hairdresser late morning.
