School tea towel causes slight distraction over breakfast! I was about 7 when we created this, and interestingly I can recognise the beginnings of my own handwriting style in my name! (I can also recognise the lack of artistic ability that led to my future art teacher saying my homework was (and I quote) 'crap' but there is more to life than drawing!)

I then went off for a wander around the shopping centre, weirdly, for a week before Christmas it was actually quite enjoyable. I bought a new coat (30% off), and a Pride the London 2012 Olympic Mascot cuddly toy. I'm not sure quite why I bought that, other than it seemed like a bargain at £2 and a good momento of an excellent summer.
