Cape Egmont Lighthouse

I was pretty excited to get the chance to take this photo today of the light house with Mount Egmont/Taranaki in the background.

The only thing that might have been better was if it had been mid winter with the mountain covered in snow. I think I'll have to plan a winter trip to create that opportunity.

We spent our time meandering down the coast today. Stopped for a few hours in New Plymouth then meandered further down to Opunake for the night.
