Afternoon amble....

...along the banks of the Kaiapoi River, so peaceful with beautiful shades of blue's and green's mingling together amongst the ripples, nature at it's best, it was a pleasant 17C.

Everywhere else it was chaos. School's out, long weekend ahead and a stunning autumnal day seemed to bring everyone out, supermarket queues inside and outside in the carpark, traffic queues getting in and out of our small town, road works are never ending even down the quiet streets, pleased to have some quiet time down by the river.

Appreciate your lovely words yesterday, thank you. Mum arrived safe and sound and woke to a warm 17C, she's enjoying a lovely day with her two grandchildren.
