Opaque orchids

I never had so many flowers in the house as I have after Mother's Day this year and then the family party last weekend. It's been fabulous.

However, they have all faded and drooped so I decided to freeze some and take photos this afternoon.  A temporary reprieve and a lovely memory for me.
