A new venue

We lunched wth friends at a pub in a nearby village. We have not been there before because it has never had a great name for food. Recently, however, there have been good reports so we thought we would give it a try and it was excellent! We wish we had discovered it sooner! They are getting geared up for Easter and there was this competition on the bar. The pub is in an old building and it has a huge fireplace, not in use today (extra). The pub is called The Running Horses and commemorates the time when there was a dead heat at The Derby.
A quiet time for a few hours now before going out for Mah-Jong. It is always the same on the third Tuesday.
