Croachy

It was very windy up past Croachy today but remained dry for the duration of our site work.

The beauty of covering ground on foot, as opposed to road vehicle, is that you see so much more. I have driven past this spot a hundred times without being aware of its existence. At this stage we were working near the B851 road side and I looked up and through a wooded bank and could just make out the profile of this ruin. I took a wee look up at our break time this morning. There was a house perhaps occupied up until not that long ago and this stone roofless shell and other dilapidated out buildings. From here you could see a long way south and east over more moorland and another ruin was visible about a mile away too. If you walked to that one then you would probably see another.
