Waiting...
A trip to the Kennedy Space Centre today for the Space X Falcon Heavy rocket launch. Unfortunately, due to high altitude weather we waited all day for the launch to be scrubbed at gone 7pm. Disappointment indeed, but we did get a full day to look around the visitor's centre, and hear a talk from Skylab and Shuttle Astronaut Jack Lousma.
It was really interesting to hear from an astronaut that was slated to go to the moon. There are so few of them still alive now, they are all old men, and all were part of a pioneering time in space exploration.
Part of the Kennedy displays included the Space Shuttle Atlantis, which was amazing to see up close. A real day for the boys I think.
