Gardens

Managed with some difficulty to remember that it was Monday (it's Friday in terms of D's working week) so got to do the regular burst of yoga. I came back via the Dean Gardens - so beautiful. Lots of new growth and flowers appearing, but the daffs are still blooming. Came home via Mr Mellis' cheese shop in Stockbridge.....mmmm.

I know - it's just another peacock butterfly, but....  I'll put in an extra vista of the gardens, taken from the same spot as this one a couple of weeks ago. If you look carefully you can see the magnolia stellata in the foreground, the elegant tenements of the West End on the skyline and the Water of Leith glinting through the foliage down there on the left. (DH suggested I included this one for cabbagetree's interest!)
