A Draughty Day in Kirkwall

A few hardy souls braved the sooth-east wind in Kirkwall today.  A few hardy souls from Dufftown, Fife, Austria, Shetland and Dumfries also attended morning and evening dancing sessions as the final day of the Orkney Dance Festival.

The excitement became too much at one stage.  A very large raffle saw 12 folk dashing about handing out prizes.  One wife went up to collect her prize and left her handbag on the table.  Obviously it was the next thing raffled.  Things don’t get easier.
