Back at work after a lovely week off. Made good progress on the piccolo system. I should have an initial version of the new code sorted by the end of the week.

Shocked to see Notre Dame burning. It's not my religion but loosing a cultural endeavour nearly a thousand years old is truly tragic. Together with Brexit, climate chaos and mass extinction our world does seem rather apocalyptic.
