Diggerland

The whole family has spent the day at Diggerland.  And what a place it is.  The age range in our group was 4 up to nearly 70 and we all had a great time being able to try our hand at Digger driving as well as steering other machines.  It was a biting wind though and we all had to retreat to the cafe at times to warm up - in fact, the warmest place was the interior of a digger cab!

There are also a couple of 'rides' created from diggers and one lifts people high up - today not as high as it could go due to the winds - but still a commanding view of the site.

An evening with a difference watching the dreadful scenes in Paris with the enormous fire at Notre Dame; so tragic to see so many years of history destroyed in minutes.
