Play time

Half day for me today - I'm working two whole morning's this week and it's doing us all the world of good. 

We've been quite 'stay at home' recently, which I think has been good (lots of sleeping for the boys).  I thought that today we'd go out to one of our local parks, where there is lots of water play, sand and plenty to do.  Of course, it was a nice day (if a bit chilly), so the park was quite full.  We had a pretty good time, but not a great time.  There was a group of older children who were clearly looking after a little boy whilst their mothers were having a good old catch up (we've all done that), except the mothers weren't paying any attention at all, so the boys got a little bit ferral.  We eventually decided it was time to go (by this time, they were both suitably soaked through), and the eldest told me quite seriously that he didn't like the big boys.  

Home to supper and crispy cakes I made with the youngest at lunch time (yum - can never tire of them!)
