The lights don't shine

Am a little stuck for words and pictures this evening, you know I think it's just one of those days when nothing is going to be done well, or even done at all. Took a moment in the garden to try and capture the coloured lights in the dark, but a bit like me, they are not really up for shining!

I am so saddened by the unfolding news of the Notre-Dame fire and feel huge sympathy for my many French friends. Such a tragedy in historical and cultural terms, and for the spiritual heart of France.
