Children's lecture at the Royal Institution.

Dr Peter Wothers of Cambridge University delivered the lecture on the Periodic Table. It was a bit advanced for Wesley, but he did enjoy the flashes and bangs of burning hydrogen, magnesium etc!  The audience was arranged in order reflecting the table itself. Wesley was Ytterbium, see extra.

Didn't enjoy the journey up to Victoria - the London train came into Lewes with only 3 carriages already packed full. By the time everyone on Lewes platform squeezed on there was barely breathing room, let alone standing room. At each stop more got on than off. I had to stand all the way.
