Our progress through Sheffield and into the Peak District for dinner was stymied by the Sheffield Half Marathon and we ended up spending some time in the car park at Bramhall Lane waiting for Tom to come to us as we couldn't get up the Eccleshall Road to pick him up. Luckily the pleasant viking-looking feller on the door of the 'Computer and Tech Fair' took pity on me and let me in to use the loo without paying the entry fee. Much three-point-turning later we did finally get back out of the city and up to High Bradfield in time for our pie and chips, which was much appreciated after the all that stress...
