Polls closing

After a frenetic election day, that started at 6am, I made my way from the Hub where we'd been running the campaign, to get a bus to the Count at Waverley Court. All the activists coming and going had remarked on how relatively hot and sunny the day had been, but we saw none of that. Emerging into a mild, dark night, fragrant with tree blossom was a lovely, calming contrast and provided a peaceful punctuation before the next bit.
