Sawed Off

The thickest vine I’ve encountered to date, about 5” across. I wanted to swing doing the Tarzan call, but that will wait for anorher day.

SK joined me for a hike at the new park, Holbrook Hollows. She hadn’t heard of it and was amazed it was so close to home. At the bottom of the first hill she said “STOP!” She remembered jumping the nearby creek while on horseback as a 14-year old girl numerous times. . She then showed me the trails where she and her friends used to gallop their horses from the Frohring farm to this one. Those trails are now under hundreds of electric pylons. SK was thrilled to see what was underway as we walked a good bit of the trails.
