Dolly and the donkeys

We met some lovely donkeys on our walk round the cut. They were happy to be offered some tasty grass from our side of the fence, it's obviously better. When I pulled out a pack of raspberries they made the same face Shep makes when there are treats around, it was quite amusing. I've added an adorable picture in the extras, they were very sweet.

We also found a small bird as we were driving home, he was sitting on the single track road and luckily Lewis spotted him before something happened. He had a bit of a bloody eye so we think he must have clipped a car, he was definitely feeling a bit concussed. We thought we were going to have to take him to Hessilhead but he started to perk up and by the time we got home to get a box he seemed much more lively. We took him to the cemetery, lots of trees, and he flew off quite happily. I've added a pic in the extras, were not sure what he was, perhaps a juvenile Siskin.
