Lazy start to the day - perfect for a Sunday. Then got a few outstanding tasks done, general quick clean round house, plant planted and manure spread round 'Madeleine' roses bought for me by friends after my dear sister Madelaine died last year. I'm not the best Rose grower in town but really must get this right. I like to bath my long coated dogs at least once a month but have fallen behind in the last couple of months so was pleased to get this done today. Ali (pictured) has an enormous coat, it's 17 inches long and very thick, impossible to get her wet to her skin, but surprisingly easy to groom. She is a beautiful dog, but is a handful.
