Chocolate Egg?

When we went to Deep Run on Friday, we stopped by to see Kent’s oldest brother. While there he gave us these eggs, laid by his chickens.

Jeff was telling us that the dark brown eggs are actually called chocolate eggs. He had had a lady and her young daughter pick up some eggs the other day and when the young girl heard they were chocolate eggs, was about to take a bite out of one until her mother noticed and stopped her, explaining it was the color of the shell and it was still a raw egg inside.

Today was a very nice morning spent at church followed by us coming home and having lunch of leftover steak and potato from yesterday. Getting ready to FaceTime with the grandkids.

Weather still very unsettled and possibly stormy.
