Weekend Digs

This weekend’s digs is a Castle Hotel dating back to the 12th century. Taunton Castle is just across the square. I feel quite at home!

A long journey down the A303 with traffic at a standstill by Stonehenge as always. But then it is the Easter holidays.

A luxury to get into my big hotel bed tonight and settle down with Gosford Park on the telly. This is the film which inspired Downton Abbey and just like the hit tv series it is full of witty repartee thanks to Julian Fellowes script. I really must pull my finger out and read Belgravia which will be his next TV series.
