End of the season

Cutting (grass) and digging seem to have been the order of the day. Half the allotment is now looking slighty less neglected but the strimmer battery didn't have enough in it for the rest which will have to wait until next week now. Hopefully himself wil do it while I'm away racing (yachts).

I had a definite 'pony (horse) with attitude' for my lesson today. He didn't like being asked to do any upward transitions and spent most of them on his two front feet making his displeasure known. Good for my seat at least.

The leeks are the end of last seasons labours, excluding the garlic which went in in the autumn. We'll be having them for dinner tonight. And possibly tomorrow.
