Tree Peony

We have spent a quiet day at home today. It makes a difference to know that there is nothing planned.

I've also made a conscious effort to leave things/jobs undone today. It really feels like a relaxing Sunday.

I made carrot soup for lunch and I took this photo of the tree peony in my garden. It always flowers before the regular peony. That is still emerging from the flower bed!
